CA Attends Kgatleng District Open and Market Day in Ramotlabaki

The Competition Authority graced the Kgatleng District Open and Market Day which was held in Ramotlabaki village and used the day as an opportunity to educate the locals about its mandate. The event was held at the Ramotlabaki Kgotla on May 28th.

When welcoming the guests, the chief of the village thanked all the Government Ministries and Parastatals in attendance to have taken time off their busy schedules to come and educate the people of Ramotlabaki about the services they provide. She further said the move was a sign that the Government has not forgotten about people in remote areas.

The District Commissioner Ms. Busang, also expressed gratitude to organisations which took heed of their invites to participate in the open day, she commended them and urged them to continue supporting the Government’s initiatives of taking services to Batswana who are in remote areas.

The event was well attended and the locals did indeed use the opportunity to equip themselves with knowledge about the mandates of different organisations.
